We are pleased to inform that the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) is organizing India Pavilion at “33rd edition of SRE Trade Show popularly known as the Super Rio Food Expo” to be held from March 28 - 30, 2023 as per the following schedule:

India and Brazil share very close and multifaceted relationships that are based o­n shared democratic values and a commitment to foster inclusive economic growth. Brazil is o­ne of the most important trading partners of India in the entire LAC (Latin America and Caribbean) region. India-Brazil bilateral trade have increased substantially over the last two decades. India’s exports to Brazil have grown exponentially in the previous five years at a CAGR of 16% making India’s exports reach USD 6.4 Billion in FY 2021-22.

THE EVENT:

Super Rio Expofood is the most traditional event in the food industry. The event promotes o­ne of the largest meetings between distributors, suppliers and the industry with the main leaders of the supermarket, bars, restaurants, bakery sectors from all regions of Brazil and brings together professionals from the food sector from around the LAC region.

In the last edition of year 2022, there were 56000+ visitors with more than 500 exhibiting brands. The 2022 edition was historic, highlighting the importance of this exhibition for the food sector in Brazil.

PARTICIPATION CHARGES:

The event is proposed for the Market Access Initiative (MAI) Scheme of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India. After taking into consideration the grant from the Ministry, the participation charges are:

1.The subsidized participation fee is based o­n the anticipated grant from the Ministry. In case of any variation the participation fee may be revised.

2.As per DOC, a company can avail MAI assistance up to a maximum of three times (including past cases) for a particular event. Thereafter they shall not be eligible for the subsidy.

3.  At present there is NO TRAVEL RESTRICTION from INDIA to BRAZIL for participation in exhibitions and events. Travelling person should be fully Vaccinated.
4.  Airfare Subsidy: Eligible companies will be entitled for reimbursement of economy class Airfare o­n submission of documents after the completion of the event. The amount of reimbursement would be not more than Rs 1,25,000/-(Only o­ne Person Per Company i.e. o­nly to Director, Proprietor, Partner regular officer of the company o­n senior managerial Position. will be eligible for the Airfare Reimbursement).

5.Visa: FIEO will issue the visa recommendation letter to the participants (Only 2 persons per company for regular employees with extensive travel history) but preference will be given to participants with valid Schengen Visa.

6.Payment & refund policy: The participation charges are non-refundable in any case.

Interested members are requested to kindly send us their confirmation as per the Registration Form(s) attched along with the participation fee (Non-Refundable).

The payment may be made o­nly by Cheque/Demand Draft in the name of Federation of Indian Export Organizations payable at New Delhi latest by 10^th January,  2023. Also, the payment may be remitted through NEFT/RTGS details of which may be shared o­n request. It may be informed that we have limited stalls and preference will be given based o­n first-cum-first served basis and o­n receipt of full participation fee. FIEO reserves the right to select the participants.
